Things to Do in Denver: Yoga With Sharks
Okay, so it’s not actually in a tank WITH sharks. But it’s still pretty awesome.
If you’re looking for weekend activities to thrill your millennial soul then Yoga with Sharks is a MUST-do adventure. I went to my first Yoga with Sharks last weekend and totally loved it. The event is hosted by Denver’s Downtown Aquarium. I hadn’t been to the Aquarium so I thought this was the perfect jumping off point.

Yoga with Sharks happens *about* 2-3 Saturdays per month. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.
After completing a successful adventure at Yoga with Sharks, I thought I should share some tips!

Know before you go
- Get there early (space is first-come, first-serve, and you don’t want to end up squished in the back far away from the sharks!)
- Parking is FREE and located across the street from the Aquarium.
- NOPE you don’t have to wait in line at the main entrance. Sneak in the side door facing the street and go straight up the stairs. Then, follow the signs.
- Make sure you check out the rad jellyfish in the back of the room!
- HOT: it was pretty warm inside the Aquarium and at some moments I was confused and thought maybe I had signed up for Bikram yoga.

The instructor is funny. I thoroughly the spirituality and comedic timing of our yoga teacher Elyse from Better Buzz Yoga. Peep her here.
If you’re looking for a girls date, then brunch after Yoga with Sharks is necessary. I attended yoga with my friend Angie and convinced her to walk to brunch nearby with me. We tried Just Be Kitchen in LoHi and I HIGHLY recommend! Bottomless mimosas for $12 and yummy food you can feel good about.
