FAIRY BREAD

Is totally taking the Internetsss by storm right now.

What is Fairy Bread?

White bread, slathered with butter (or margarine) topped with rainbow sprinkles.

Obvs, there are TONS of variations. Including Nutella instead of butter.

This yummy treat can also been seen in Europe.

My Dutch Grandparents served me “Hagelslag” as a child- same idea but chocolate sprinkles only!

 

 

AND IT IS DELICIOUS.

The hype? 

I must admit I love the term Fairy Bread.

Aussies love serving this at children’s birthday parties. They may go so far as to say it is “tradition”.

But will I be eating this sugar-carb filled treat anytime soon? Nope. (Hence why I didn’t upload my own photos and stole all of these off the Internet)

But will I possibly make this at a girly potluck brunch soon? Maybs.
