You can now take a selfie at the White House- just not with a selfie stick

The White House announced yesterday they’re lifting a 40 year ban of NO PHOTOS at the White House during tours.

Yay!

The bad news?

They’ve joined other tourist attractions (such as The Louvre) in banning selfie sticks.

To be fair it’s just one part of what’s banned: “Video cameras — including any action camcorders, cameras with detachable lenses, tablets, tripods, monopods and camera sticks” — are still banned.
