Wedding gifts they didn't register for

Sometimes I HATE giving people what they want. A la a wedding registry. They’re just so dang practical that sometimes they bore the heck out of me.

Here is a list of gifts for your bride and groom that they DID NOT ASK FOR that they probably need. For the quirky gift giver.

1. A Minimergency Kit:
Super practical and inexpensive ($16-$75).The kits have all the essentials like tampons, safety pins, blotting tissues and more. There’s even a deluxe wedding day specific kit.

2. Kate Spade ring holder: Duh, every bride needs a place to store her ring! There are a few different options on the site (all for $40) but I like this Grace Avenue one the best. Logical. Thoughtful.

3. Customized address stamp: Obviously only if you know their address and if they already have a permanent address. A lot of couples don’t live together or have a permanent place. But if they do, they will need this ($29.95). Think of all the time you will save them when they send out their Thank You cards?!

4. Pottery Barn monogrammed door mat: Ok, maybe not high on the couple’s priority list. Maybe not 100% necessary. But totally cute. Starting at $69 from Pottery Barn this is a classy-yet-cheeky wedding gift. However, likely not good if the couple has a complicated last name or a hyphenated one. The wedding date doormat is a good alternative.

5. Personalized beach towels: How fab would it be to rock your tropical honeymoon vacation with custom beach towels? These monogrammed towels I found from Pottery Barn (starting at $39.50)  are great because they are huge and reversible!
