Wireless times a coming!

Next month the furniture store is launching wireless charging furniture for your smartphones/ tablets!

I need this now.

The collection “Home Smart” will feature bedside tables and lamps with built-in charging circles that you just delicately lay your phone on. Yes, you will have to plug your furniture in.

The idea has already been put into place by Starbucks who’ve introduced wireless charging tables in their stores.

Hello, clutter-less life.

You can also buy charging pads if you don’t want to replace the furniture you already have.

The bad news? So far iPhone and older versions of Galaxy S don’t support wireless charging. You’ll have to buy a special cover (sold separately) from Ikea for it to work.

I wonder if Apple’s butt hurt about this?
