My new CamelBak BFF
I took my new CamelBak Women’s Day Star 18 (in Reflecting Pond color $80) out for a spin today at Bishop’s Peak Mountain on San Luis Obispo, CA.
And I gotta hand it to the designers- it didn’t even faze me that there was a pack on my back.
I’m not a big backpack wearer so this lightweight pack was a smooth transition.
My back got a little more sweaty than normal on this mountain hike, but hey, I burned more calories right?
I love that there are not one, but two large pockets aside from the compartment holding the Antidote Reservoir. On the sides, two convenient mesh pockets for extra water or reachable items.
The Reservoir, BTW, holds 70oz of water and the was super easy to fill up and drink from. *thumbs up emoji*
This pack is perfect for a 1-3 hour hike, IMO.
You WILL be offering to let your friends put stuff in your backpack. It’s that comfortable.
Needless to say, I’ll be bringing my new bestie on my workout hikes forever. Because there’s a lifetime guarantee.
