Lady Gaga’s Powerful Oscars Performance (Clevver News)

As promised Lady Gaga performed her nominated sexual assault awareness song “Till It Happens to You” on the Oscars 2016 stage.

Joined by assault survivors Gaga belted her heart out in a white suit at a stark white piano.

Not shockingly the performance brought the audience to their feet and to tears.

I never thought anyone would ever love me because I felt like my body was ruined by my abuser. But he loves the survivor in me. He's stood by me all night proud and unashamedly. THATS a real man. ❤️

After the show Gaga quickly took a moment to thank the man in her life, her fiance, Taylor Kinney in the most heartwarming Instagram post ever.
