This is an outrage.

Why would certain museums BAN my beloved selfie stick?

They claim its for YOUR safety and the art’s safety. Like you’re going to jab the Mona Lisa with your metal rod. No, you’re not.

WHERE ARE THEY BANNED (so far):

Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts

NYC’s Museum of Modern Art

Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum

CA’s Getty Center and Getty Villa (indoor galleries only)
