Denver Birthday Party Scavenger Hunt
For my #ThirtyONEderful birthday this year (that I share with my twin sister and my best friend) we decided to do a scavenger hunt in downtown Denver!
I thought I’d share the clues and scavenger hunt details with you! Anyone is welcome to replicate this intricate hunt planned by my ridiculously talented friend Allison.
This hunt can be done easily by foot with as many teams as you like. Babies included.
Teams:
We had 2 teams of 6 each #TeamRyan (wearing Ninja Turtle Masks) VS #TeamMisty in Hello Kitty masks.
The hunt was not scored by who finished first, but which team scored the most points.
Scoring:
-What team at the end of the race has the most masks in tact and on them.
-Did the team collect a pair of chopsticks from Hapa Sushi.
-Best team photo at Tattered Cover bookstore contest.
-Best “1985” photo collage contest.
Clues:
Print out these 3 clues below and give a copy to each of your teams.

START: 3:00pm at Blake Street Vault (bar/ restaurant) for a happy hour kickoff drink!
CLUE #1: OK people, don’t get too sloppy! You go here if you need to make a copy. If you guessed it—GOOD! In order to find the next clue, you’re gunna need to go there and look under the hood. No, you’re not looking in a car. Where do you sit when you need to surf the web?
CLUE #3: One of our birthday babes is a lover of this store. Are we on the same page people? Ok, if you still haven’t figured it out the establishment has a word in it that rhymes with lover! Take a picture inside to prove you went there. You will be scored on best photo!
CLUE #4: Who’s thirsty? It’s time to go to a bar. Not just any old place. When you jet set, where do you wait? Not “gate”….it’s larger than that! Once you guess the word, you will see it’s in the name.

Then, print out enough copies for each team of Clue #2 (below) and tape each of them under the workstation desks at the FedEx Kinko’s on 1509 Blake St, Denver, CO 80202.

CLUE #2 Well, aren’t you smart! You think you’re on a __________ now, eh? Then your next goal is to fill in the blank and collect the utensil that you use to eat this type of food. Any location is fair play. After doing this, look on the your info sheet to find your way to CLUE #3.
Finally, give enough copies of this final clue #5 to a bartender at Terminal Bar (Union Station).

END: You’re almost to the end of this race! Meet at Wynkoop Brewery (across from Union Station) once you have collected a picture(s) of numbers that spells out “1985”. The greatest year to be born. You’re gunna have to get creative here.
