Dame Judi Dench got a tattoo for 81st birthday and everyone is shocked

I think Dame Judi’s fresh ink is incredibly refreshing.

It’s never too late to try something new or revitalize yourself with a new experience!

And if you think about this choice it makes so much sense; getting tattoos later in life means you probably won’t get sick of them. People change over the course of their life so many times and I myself haven’t pulled the plug for fear I may regret my “Be Yourselfie” tattoo. LOL.

More interesting to me is that Judi’s daughter Finty Williams gifted her the “Carpe Diem” tattoo on her wrist for her birthday. A tattoo as a gift? Ok then. Way to spice up the gift giving!

In case you forgot, Carpe Diem, means “seize the day” in Latin. Seems like Judi’s doing it right.
