Beauty Kitchen faves
Thanks to the generosity of my friend Heather Marianna (owner of Beauty Kitchen) I’ve tried an ample amount of her unique beauty enhancing products!
First of all, I gotta shout out the genuine DIY spirit of the Beauty Kitchen brand and overall energetic message.
Here are my favorite Beauty Kitchen products:
After Sun Aloe Vera Spray ($10.50)– A genius idea for the frequently sunburned gal or avid sun soaker. Why haven’t other brands marketed a bottle aloe spray?!
It’s insanely easy to use and makes me want to put it on more often because of that. Which is a good thing.
Ingredients include: Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Aloe Vera Juice, Organic Rose Water, Distilled water and Beauty Kitchens blend of essential oils to fight sunburns.
Bye Bye Cellulite Coffee Scrub ($27.50)- I’ve never tried a cellulite scrub before and I definitely haven’t tried a coffee scrub before. Users beware it’s gonna look a little weird when you scrub what looks like dark sand all over your legs in the shower but the after effect is worth it. My legs felt so smooth I pretty much turned myself on.
However, I wasn’t crazy about the scent but I’m gonna trust that these exotic ingredients are just doing their job!
Ingredients include: Fine Coffee Grounds, Oryza Sativa Bran Oil, Mentha Piperia Oil, Citrus Paradisii essential oil, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Oil, Sea Buckthorn Essential Oil.
Rose- Geranium Cleansing oil ($24.95)– Sooo I initially thought this was a standard cleanser and I was happy using it in the shower instead of my normal cleanser. I loved the scent and my skin felt tender but not sticky. No moisturizer needed.
But upon further investigation this is to be used more for makeup removal than strictly cleansing.
But I think it’s an impressive sign that I wasn’t freaked out by using it to simply clean my skin.
Ingredients include: Rice Bran Oil, Coconut Oil, Beauty Kitchen’s skin softening oils and essential oils of Rose and Geranium.
My main critique of the products in general is the lack of usage instructions on the product.
I would die to obsess over the directions on how to use these beauty must-haves to their full potential.
Happy Beautifying!
