Leonardo DiCaprio Wins Best Actor with Standing Ovation (Clevver Movies)

Leo’s prepping for his *hopeful first Oscars win this year.

DiCaprio won Best Actor for The Revenant at the 73rd Golden Globes last night.

In his speech he was humbled by the huge standing ovation, sincerely thanked those involved in the film, and when the cutoff music chimed in he didn’t give zero f*cks.

In The Revenant, Leonardo stars as a frontiersman who is attacked by a bear. His hunting team leaves him for dead and he must fight for survival himself.

Apparently it was an intense movie to film for everyone involved, especially the crew. Leo’s performance in the movie is largely physical, since he’s alone most of the time with little dialogue.
