2015 Oscar Nominations: What you need to know

Here’s the lowdown on the 87th Annual Academy Award nominations that happened this morning at 5:30:40am. Yup, that exact. I was there.

JJ Abrams, Alfonso Cuaron, Chris Pine and Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced the nominees at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills.  

Here’s what everyone will be talking about come Feb 22nd. Oh, and Meryl Streep got her 19th nomination for Supporting Actress in Into the Woods.
